William F. O’Toole, 75, of Hudson, died Monday, July 2, 2007 at Parkview of Central MA, Kindred Hospital in Leicester, MA.
He was the husband of 47 years to the late Maureen (O’Hare) O’Toole who died in 2006.
Born in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of the late William and Julia (Lydon) O’Toole.
He was raised in Dorchester, MA and later was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He moved to Hudson, MA in 1963. He was a retired machinist at the Polaroid Corp. retiring in 1986 after 26 years. He enjoyed working in his yard and woodworking as a hobby.
He is survived by his three sons William M. O’Toole and his wife Cynthia of Raleigh, NC, Sean F. O’Toole and his wife Marjarie and Peter T. O’Toole all of Alton, NH. He is also survived by his brother Thomas O’Toole of Woburn, MA and his grandchildren; Jonathan, Jennifer, Sean and Katelyn O’Toole. He was the brother of the late John “Al” O’Toole, Jeremiah “Joe” O’Toole and Mary O’Toole.
His funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc, (www.tighehamilton.com) 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 Friday, July 6, 2007 with a funeral mass at 9:00 am in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson MA. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 5 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
