Obituary

Mrs. Bertha M. (Rondeau) King, age 82, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Saturday June 30th, 2007 at Heritage Manor following a brief Illness. She was the beloved wife of Floyd C. King, with whom she would have celebrated 59 years of marriage on July 3rd.

She was born in Lowell on August 1st, 1924, a daughter of the late Cleaphoues Rondeau and Anna (Charbonneau) Rondeau.

She was educated in the Lowell School System and had worked in the Mills in her earlier years. She was a communicant of the former St. Jean Baptiste Church

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Claire (King) Mireault of Lowell; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Janice King of Manchester, NH; five grandchildren, John King, Richard Mireault, Joel W. King, Christine Clark and Ann Ingalls; six great-grandchildren, Heather King, Joel R. King, Robert Ingalls, Bradley Ingalls, Holly Ingalls and Heather Clark; a great-great-grandson: Tyler Ingalls; a sister and brother-in-law, Rita & Ralph Jacques of Dracut; also many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St. Lowell, on Monday from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral Tuesday morning with a prayer service to take place in the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Committal Services to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel in Chelmsford.
