Rose E. (Carvotta) Vinagro, a life-long Medford resident died Saturday at Harbourside-Northwood Nursing Home in Bedford, NH. She was 87.
Rose was born and raised in Medford, the daughter of the late John and the late Carmela (Zito) Carvotta. Rose was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed the company of family and friends. Once her children were raised, she worked for over 20 years at Mystic Bakery in Medford.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Vinagro. She was a devoted mother to Vincent Vinagro of Peabody, Barbara Recchia of Revere, and Camille Vinagro of Manchester, NH. She was a loving grandmother to Deanna Moffett of Woburn, Marisa DiGiovanni of Marblehead, Kevin Vinagro of Peabody, Mary Brown of Bradford, Jodi Boyd of Peabody, Brian Vinagro of Pelham, NH, Jennifer Recchia of Revere, Raymond Vinagro of Peabody, Rebecca Vinagro of Peabody, Tyler Green of Manchester, NH, Cameron Green of Manchester, NH and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a dear sister to Joseph Carvotta of GA, John Carvotta of FL the late Mildred Gianelli, Josephine Gianino and Pasquale Carvotta. Rose also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford/Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
