Caroline (Pereira) Anderson of 2446 Highland Ave, formerly of 102 So. Main St. Fall River, age 80, passed away in Fall River June 25, 2007. Born in Swansea, daughter of the late Jacinto and Catherine (Vieira) Pereira. She lived in Kansas & Michigan, then back to Fall River in 1980. Before retiring, she was a Treasurer for 5 years for City of Wixom, MI, a bookkeeper at Burrough’s Computers in MI, then here a Bookkeeper at Lincoln Press. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion of Swansea Post # 303.
She is survived by Three sisters: Sedelia Dionne and Mary Silvia both of Fall River and Jennie Dauphinais of W. Warwick, RI, several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Jesse and Joseph Pereira
Her private graveside service will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery on Thursday at 9:30 AM.
