Beloved husband of Marguerite M. (Tracey) Norton of Quincy. Loving father of Debra A. DelVecchio of Brockton, M. Tracey Mastrorilli of Norwell, and Frederic J. Norton of Hull. Brother of Elaine Wall of Cape Cod, Donald Norton of Weymouth, and the late Charles, Thomas, Wm. Allan, Henrey, and Kenneth Norton. Devoted grandfather of Alycia Quill of Weymouth, Anthony Mastrorilli of Norwell, Lauren and Michael DelVecchio both of Brockton. Cherished great-grand father of Payton and Kendal Quill both of Norwell.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Monday at 10:00 AM.
Visiting hours Sunday 2 - 5 PM.
Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
Mr. Norton was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. He was a graduate of Boston Trade School. Frederic worked for Verizon in Boston for 44 years before retiring in 1993. After retiring, Mr. Norton worked as a security guard at State Street South for 3 years. Fred enjoyed working on things around the house and could fix just about anything. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed playing the lottery. Most of all, Fred loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Norton was a Korean War Veteran. U.S. Army.
