Inez (Rego) Almeida, age 67, of 74 Forest St., Fall River, passed away at home, June 26, 2007. Widow of Edward F. Almeida. Daughter of the late Manuel Pavao Rego and Alice (Carpenter) Rego. She was a life long resident of Fall River. She was a housewife and a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral. She enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by Seven Children: Edward, Michael, Gregory, & Manuel Rego, Eric Almeida, Danelle Minville all of Fall River, and Sandra Monis of Florida. Three Sisters: Irene Paulo, Pat Medeiros, and Linda Machado all of Fall River. Seven Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren, & Several nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Michelle Rego Minville and sister of the late Mary Morrow and Margaret Cordeiro.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. on Friday at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Second St. at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
