Obituary

DARTMOUTH — Marion Sherman Tripp passed away on June 15, 2007, at her home in South Dartmouth.

Born in New Bedford in 1910, she was the daughter of Charles and Nancy (Sherman) Malmedie. She graduated from New Bedford High School and Kenyon Business School.

Ms. Tripp worked as an executive assistant to Seabury Stanton CEO of Berkshire Hathaway for many years. After her retirement she pursued a second career with the Mitchell's family law in New Bedford.

Ms. Tripp was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed many sailing trips on the Caribbee from Maine to the Bahamas.

Ms. Tripp is survived by her son, Bradford S., his wife Jane, granddaughters, Alison, Cundari, Lauren Lee, and Amanda Tripp, a step grandson, Leigh Markey of San Francisco and several great grandchildren.

Burial will be private. A service in the memory of Marion S. Tripp will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. in the South Dartmouth Congregational Church, 17 Middle St., South Dartmouth.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust, P.O. Box P17, 404 Elm St., Dartmouth, MA 02748.
