METHUEN – Florence M. ( Shea) Linehan age 87 died Wednesday June 20, 2007 at Holy Family Hospital.
Born and educated in Methuen, she graduated from the Edward F. Searles High School and attended McIntosh Business School. For 7 years she worked in the War Plant, and for 10 to 12 years for the United Fund of Merrimack Valley and was also a homemaker. She belonged to the Methuen Women’s Civic Club, she enjoyed painting, cooking, sewing and doing embroidery.
The widow of Lawrence W. Linehan, Sr., she leaves her children Lawrence W. Linehan, Jr., of Salem, NH and Jean A. Linehan of Livermore, ME.
1 grandson Lawrence D. Linehan of Salem, NH.
1 nephew George A. Hart and several other nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to Holy Family William Lane Cancer Management Center 70 East Street Methuen, MA 01844 or to the United Fund of Merrimack Valley 237 Neck Road Haverhill, MA 01835. Family and friends may call on Friday from 5:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00a.m. at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen, burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen, MA.
