ASARO, Vito "Vic"- Of Burlington, formerly of Winchester, June 20th. Devoted husband of Helen (Ryan) Asaro. Beloved father of Frances Mandravelis and her husband Timothy of Nashua, New Hampshire, Robert Asaro and his wife Allison of Tampa, Florida, Donna Miller and her husband Kevin of Darien, CT and the late Vito Asaro, Jr. Brother of Jasper Asaro of Winchester and the late Joanna Bosceme, Nicholas Asaro, Mary Colcough and Frank Asaro. Loving grandfather of Diane, Vito III and Christy Asaro, Laura Wallick, Bruce Irving, Kalle and Kylli Asaro and Payton and Kendall Miller. Also lovingly survived by 12 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant Street, WOBURN, Saturday, at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Margarets Church, 109 Winn Street, BURLINGTON at 10 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington. Retired 38 year employee of Honeywell-Bull Corp., Teledyne Tech Co. Lead out at Wonderland Race Track for 19 years and United States Marine Corp. Veteran.

Born in Winchester and a longtime Burlington resident, Vic passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington Wednesday morning after being rushed from his house last Friday. A graduate of St. Mary's grade school and Somerville Trade, he worked for Honeywell for over 38 years then for Teledyne Tech in Woburn for 8. An employee also at Wonderland Race Track for 19 years, he worked as a lead out, then as the head lead out before he retired.
