Geneva Brown Nolan, 82, of Fitzgerald, formerly of Mystic, died Tuesday, June 19 at the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Thursday, June 21, at the Irwinville Baptist Church, with Rev. Sonny Pate and Rev. Stan Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in Irwinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Nolan was born January 26, 1925, in Ware County, to the late Perry Larkin Brown and the late Bessie Brown Teague. She was a former employee of H.R. Kaminsky and Sons, in Fitzgerald and the Kennesaw Drug Store in Kennesaw. Mrs. Nolan was a member of the Irwinville Baptist Church and the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her son: Dave Murphy of Reidsville; daughter: Deborah (Randy) Latham of Ambrose; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and one sister: Sue Foster of Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Murphy; two brothers and one sister.
