WORCESTER____Ernest A. St. George, 86, of 26 Standish St., died Wednesday November 27 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, 20 Worcester Center Boulevard.
He leaves his wife of 61 years, Albina B. (Dagesi) St. George; two daughters, Marie Ann St. George of Worcester; and Jeannette T. St. George of Juneau, Alaska; a nephew and two nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Leon and Rose (Arquette) St. George and lived here all his life.
Mr. St. George was a self employed nutritional consultant 12 years and worked up until last week. Before then he owned and operated Tiles, Inc., in Worcester for many years.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.Mr. St. George was a member of St. Casimirs Church and was a former member of the Third Order of St. Francis and was a former member of Alhambra Council Knights of Columbus.He was graduated from Commerce High School. Mr. St. George received a Ph.D in Nutrition from Donsbach University of California.
The private funeral will be held Monday December 2, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St.,with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimirs Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the M.S.S.P.A., P.O. Box 10, South Windham, Maine, 04082.
