Bridgewater - Robert A. Jasperson, 77, of Bridgewater, died Monday, June 18, 2007, at Goddard Nursing and Rehabilitation in Stoughton. He was the husband of the late Carmella (Rintone) Jasperson.
Born Jan. 25, 1930, in Boston, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (King) Jasperson.
Raised and educated in Boston, he was a graduate of Boston English High School and attended Boston Technical Institute.
Mr. Jasperson was a truck driver for Table Talk Pies Teamsters for 30 years, retiring in 1985.
He was a resident of Bridgewater for 14 years, coming from Stoughton.
Mr. Jasperson was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and enjoyed traveling to Florida.
He was the husband of the late Carmella (Rintone); father of Lorna Vallee of Raynham, Robert Jasperson Jr. of Mystic, CT., and James Jasperson of Wisconsin; brother of Bill Jasperson of Brockton. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
His Funeral will be held from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Friday at 8:45 am. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, at 9 am. Visiting hour prior to Mass from 8-8:45 am in the funeral home. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
