Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Grace M. (Randazza) Aiello, 86, died Monday afternoon, June 18, 2007, in the Seacoast Nursing & Retirement Center, where she had been a resident for the past fourteen years. She was the wife of the late Sam Aiello, who died in May of 1965.
Born in Gloucester on August 15, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Nina (Parisi) Randazza. She had attended Gloucester public schools.
She was a devote catholic and when able, attended St. Ann’s Church regularly. She was also a member of the Madonna del Rosario Society.
Gracie was widowed at a young age and she spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving children, Joseph Aiello of Utica, NY, John, husband of Patricia Aiello of Hampton, NH, Marie, wife of Kevin Clayton and Nina, wife of Richard Oliver all of Gloucester, ten grandchildren, Michael Borge, Kelly Cox, Christina Clayton, Joshua Oliver, Lisa LoRe, Joseph, Ashleigh, Adam, Erica and Darren Aiello, three great-grandchildren, Gabriella Caruso, Sophia LoRe and Madeline Aiello, a sister, Frances Thompson, two brothers, Albert and Sophie Randazza, two sisters-in-law, Antoinette Aiello and Genevieve Randazza and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister, Antoinette Orlando and five brothers, Benjamin, Phil, Thomas “Pee Wee”, Anthony “China” and Salvatore “Tootsie” Randazza.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning in the Holy Family Parish, St. Ann Church at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5 – 8 p.m. in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester. Please omit flowers. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery.
