TEWKSBURY - Carol (Albertelli) McLaughlin, 70, a Tewksbury resident for over 44 years, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 27, at Lowell General. She was the wife of Edward J. McLaughlin with whom she celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this past March.
She was born in Cambridge, Oct. 24, 1932, the daughter of the late Louis and Florence (Peace) Albertelli, and was raised in Cambridge . She had lived in Tewksbury since 1956, where she enjoyed raising her family. She was an avid shopper and enjoyed playing bingo.
She was retired from Wang Laboratories.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and her husband Thomas Cason of Groton, Eileen and her husband Donald Wright of Leominster, two brothers Francis "Sammy" Albertelli of Cambridge, Thomas Albertelli of Burlington, fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Edward F. McLaughlin who died in 1992.
Her Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Nov. 30, in St. Williams Church. Interment in Tewksbury Cemetery.
