Philip “Flip” Kountz, III, of Wellesley, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, PA, June 15, 2007. Beloved husband of Rita (Rotka) Kountz. Devoted father of Kirstin Kountz of Sudbury, stepfather of Brian Montgomery of Longmeadow, MA and Jill Montgomery of San Francisco, CA. Son of Bernice (Zimmerman) Kountz and the late George Philip Kountz, II. Brother of Frederick Kountz and his wife Marty of South Fayette, PA, Andy Crockett and her husband John of Hampton, PA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service at the George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington Street (Rte. 16), WELLESLEY, Tuesday at 12 noon. Reverend Johanne Dame, Pastor of Christ Church United Methodist of Wellesley will officiate. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday 4:00-8:00 P.M. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Philip was very devoted to his friends and family.
