Jack Kirkland, 71, of Tifton died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at the Golden Living Center.
Mr. Kirkland was born on April 27, 1936 in Nashville and was the son of George Manning Kirkland and Ella Mae Wells Kirkland, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel McMillan Kirkland; three brothers; and six sisters. He was a retired supervisor from Bold Corporation and had lived in Tift County for 25 years.
Mr. Kirkland is survived by three sons, Jack Manning Kirkland of Tifton, Robert Talmadge Kirkland of Tifton and Brian Gabriel Kirkland of Tifton; one step-son, Ervin Lewis Smith of Tifton; two brothers, Bobby Kirkland of Tifton and Russell Kirkland of Concord; two sisters, Doris Brannon of Griffin and Jessie Moore of Tampa, Florida; and eight grandchildren.
