WORCESTER-Mary Jane (Marlborough) Nevalsky, 75, passed away Thursday, June 14 at St. Vincent Hospital.
She leaves her loving husband of 52 years, Lawrence E. Nevalsky; her son, Stephen T and his wife, Nancy Nevalsky of California; three daughters, Karen Nevalsky of Worcester, Janet and her husband Roy Benoit of Charlton and Carol and her husband Leif Rosseland of Holden. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Lauren, Jonathan, Nicole, Kevin, Eric, Maegan, Tyler and Paige. Her brother Thomas Marlborough predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Thomas H. and Margaret M. (Logan) Marlborough and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. She was a bookkeeper for many years at the former Levitz and Ames Department Stores before retiring. Mary was a former Den Mother with the Cub Scouts and enjoyed bowling, bingo and camping at Winding Brook in Douglas.
Mary's funeral will be Monday, June 18 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge St. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday, June 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
