TEWKSBURY—Dennis J. O’Neil, 38 years old, died accidentally in Waltham Sunday morning. He was the husband of Stephanie L. (Paquette) O’Neil, with whom he celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, on on November 15, 2002
He was born in Malden, MA, on October 29, 1964, a son of the late Julia (Leone) O’Neil. He was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1983, and the Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston.
He had been employed as a Journeyman Electrician by Brite Lites Electrical Company, of Weymouth, for the past two years.
He was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church, and enjoyed camping, boating and his cigars.
Surviving him besides his wife are a son: Christopher James O’Neil; a daughter: Kate Julia O’Neil; both of Tewksbury; his mother-in-law: Catherine Paquette, of Lowell; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Michelle and Mark Cameron, of Salem, NH; Karen and Edward Riley, of Lowell; Steven Paquette, and his fiancé Christine Ganno, of Billerica; Scott and Mariama Paquette, of Lowell; and Christopher Paquette and Mary Ehler, of Lowell; nieces and nephews: Craig and Kelsie Cameron, Samantha and Brenna Riley and Keilah Paquette; a dear cousin: Robert Nunes, of Bedford; a close family friend: Chester Pillsbury, of Tewksbury; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was the father of the late Steven Frank O’Neil and Scott James O’Neil, the son-in-law of the late Frank F. Paquette, and uncle of the late Aaron Joseph Paquette.
Friends may call on Friday, November 29th, from 3 until 8 PM at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). His Funeral Mass will be offered Saturday, November 30th, at 10 AM at ST.
