Mable Nadean "Dean" Shepherd McCullar, age 76, of Water Valley, MS died at the Baptist Memorial Hospital N-MS in Oxford on Wednesday, June 13, 2007. She was retired from Big Yank Corp., MS and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Water Valley, MS.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2007. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with Richard C. Hunt, Terry Tutor, Michael P. Harmon, Kenneth H. Harmon, Riley Harmon and Charles C. Jenkins serving as pallbearers.
Dean is survived by her daughter, Teresa Sellers Tutor of Water Valley, MS; her son, William Allen Tutor of Courtland, MS, sisters Mavis Shepherd Wallace of Water Valley, MS and Carolyn Shepherd Rowsey of Grenada, MS; brothers, Shirley Shepherd of Killeen, TX and Billy Shepherd of Crenshaw, MS; 4 grandchildren, Gina Joiner, Allen Clay Tutor, Ashley Tutor and Ryan M. Tutor; and one great granddaughter, Melissa Joiner.
Mrs. McCullar was preceded in death by her parents, Bert Clay and Emma Lee Harbin Shepherd; sons, Jerry Wayne Tutor and James Dewitt Tutor; daughter, Phyllis Ann Tutor; sister, Dorothy Hawkins.
