Teresa A. (Cobb) Yeomans, 65, of Medway, died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, June 10, 2007. She was the beloved wife of Richard P. Yeomans for 43 years.
Born in South Boston on October 31, 1941, she was a daughter of the late James M. and Anna (Kane) Cobb. She was a resident of Medway for the past 39 years and formerly resided in South Boston.
Mrs. Yeomans was a graduate of the South Boston High School. Before her retirement, she worked at PLC Medical Systems in Franklin for five years.
A homemaker for many years, Mrs. Yeomans enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and shopping and loved playing bingo.
Besides her husband, she is survived by; three sons, Richard P. Yeomans Jr. and his girlfriend, Nancy Flaherty of Medway, Keith J. Yeomans and his wife, Pamela of West Roxbury and Scott F. Yeomans and his wife, Susan of Bridgewater, a daughter, Kerry A. Slater and her husband, Sean of Stoneham and nine grandchildren, Alicia, Dustin, Richard, Anna, Natalie, Cassidy, Ryan, Kate and Christina.
She is also survived by a brother, Michael Cobb of Marshfield, two sisters, Anne Colby of Quincy and Maureen Cobb of Middleboro and many nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Richard Cobb.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday, June 14 from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com), 3 Barber St. in Medway at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village Street in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m.
