Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 9am, followed by a funeral mass in the Immaculate Conception Church N. Easton at 10am. Obituary Information
David F. Kane, Esq., CPA of North Easton and North Falmouth, passed away on Saturday June 9, 2007, at the Boston University Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton, son of Kenneth and Margaret (Herlihy) Kane, he was raised in Abington and was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Stonehill College and went on to Boston College Law School where he was a writer for the BC Law Review and graduated Cum Laude. David also passed his CPA exam in one sitting. Despite serious physical challenges from a childhood illness, he went on to build a successful career in both law and accounting, eventually establishing his own law practice in Easton. David was optimistic, determined and a man of few words. He loved time spent on Cape Cod, the Boston Red Sox and his cairn terrier, Bonnie.
He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Margaret (Herlihy) Kane of Cape Cod, two sisters Kathleen Norton and her husband Richard of N. Easton and Pocasset and Paula Norton and her husband Jack of N. Easton, one brother Timothy Kane of N. Falmouth, three nieces Elizabeth, Christine, and Jacqueline Norton and his cairn terrier, Bonnie.
