WEST BOYLSTON-Mel Klotz, 71 of West Boylston formerly of Peabody, passed away on Thursday, June 7. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan (Monahan) Klotz, and two sons, Mark and his wife Michelle Klotz of West Boylston and Sean and his wife Cara Klotz of Vallrico, FL. He also leaves 7 grandchildren, all girls. They are Dara, Sierra, Chloe, Emma, Eva, Mia and Ella. He also leaves his sister, Anne Compachiaro of Hollywood, FL.
He was born in Boston, May 2, 1936 the son of Morris and Eva (Snyder) Klotz. He graduated from Northeastern with a M.B.A. in and was a very successful business executive. He loved his family first, then golf and the Red Sox next.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, June 10 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St. Mel’s funeral service will be Monday, June 11 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
