Franklin—Mrs. Dolores F. (Carlucci) Narducci 58, died Wednesday June 6, 2007, at her home surrounded by her family following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Domenic S. Narducci.
Born in St. Maria Del Molise, Italy July 16, 1948, a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Narducci) Carlucci she lived in Italy before coming to the United States at age 14 and settled in Franklin.
Educated in Italy and Franklin Schools she worked as a waitress for the Rome Restaurant in Franklin since it opened in 1965 until her illness forced her to retire.
Her interests included cooking, knitting, and all the people she came to know at the restaurant, but her passion was her family and her beloved grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin.
In addition to her husband of 40 years are 2 sons, Antonio N. Narducci and his wife Pamela of Wrentham, Steven P. Narducci and his wife Cheri of Franklin one daughter Tina M. Balducci and her husband Robert of Franklin, one brother John Carlucci of Ohio, three sisters Carmela Arcaro of Montreal, Elizabeth Arcaro of Toronto and Yolanda Palermo of Montreal. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren Chad A., Troy N. and Nathan W. Narducci, Domenic N., Eric M. and Catrina R. Narducci and Thomas D. and Carter B. Balducci. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday June 9, 2007 at 11:45AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 12:30PM. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
