Carol Ann Trainer, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, in Brighton, after a brief illness, the wife of George L. “GiGi” Trainer she was sixty-three years old.
Born, raised and educated in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Patricia (Cox) and Malcolm Scolley. Carol raised her family in the military, her husband George was a career airman in the US Air Force who was stationed at different military basis all over the world. They have shared forty wonderful years of marriage and have made their home in Medford since 1978.
Surviving in addition to her husband George, are her daughters, Patricia Brown and her husband Kevin of Billerica, Laura Trainer and her boyfriend Scott of Medford, her son Lawrence Trainer and his wife Cindy of Franklin.
She was the loving grandmother of Matthew, Amanda, Melissa, Kevin Scott and Cameron. The sister of Patricia Travers and her husband George, Elaine Wakely and her husband Jimmy all of Medford and Richard Carriger of Concord, NH. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on Monday, November 25 at 8 a.m. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 9. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday, November 24, from 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford
