LEICESTER:Edward R. Jarobski,Sr., 71, of 1 Westminster St., in the Cherry
Valley section of Leicester, died Saturday, June 2 in St. Vincent Hospital
in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 27 years, June C. (St.Denis) Jarobski, three sons
Edward R. Jarobski, Jr. and his wife Judith of Leicester, Gary E. Jarobski
and his wife Sandra of N.Oxford and Stephen M. Jarobski and his wife Barbara
of Leicester, two daughters Darlene S. Day and Susan M. Dufault and her
husband Rodney all of Rochdale, and the mother of his children Joyce C.
Ovaska of Rochdale, a sister Katherine Keller and her husband Paul of
Groveland, Fl., a step son Arthur Penttila of Cherry Valley, two step
daughters Anne Schiltz of Hawaii, and Donna Rudik of Worcester, 18 grand
children and one great grandson, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jarobski was a carpenter for Local 107, Carpenters Union and later
worked at Kesselli & Morse Co. in Auburn, before retiring due to illness in
1977.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loyal Red Sox Fan. He was loved by all
and will be dearly missed.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Edward V. and Helena (Amons) Jarobski.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 7 at 11a.m. in the
MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in
Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, from 9:30 to
11a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to NINDS-Natl.
