Obituary

Ernest M. Audet, 88, of Hooksett, died June 1, 2007, at Merrimack County Nursing Home, Boscawen, after a period of declining health.

He was born in Manchester, May 19, 1919, and was the son of Joseph and Adeline (Lessard) Audet. He lived in Manchester for 62 years. He also lived in Danbury, NH for 12 years, and several years in Newport, NH before moving with his daughter in Hooksett. He had been a member of St. Francis Church for many years.

He served as a staff sergeant in the US Army during World War II.

Mr. Audet worked for Auclair Transportation Co. as a truck driver for many years.

He was married to Rita (Roux) Audet, who died in 1995.

Family members include two daughters, Patricia A. Perigny and her husband Robert, of Hooksett, NH and Karen K. Russell and her husband Jeffrey, of Bradford, NH; four grandchildren, Jenna Perigny, Chelby Perigny, Joshua Russell, and Ryan Russell; many nieces and nephews.



A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday June 5, 2007 at Holy Rosary Church, Main St., Hooksett. Burial was in Sunny Plain Cemetery, Bradford, NH, at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to Merrimack County Nursing Home, 325 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, was in charge of arrangements.
