Louise B. (Belliveau) O’Neil, 89 of Malden and Ipswich, passed away on June 1st, 2007. She was born in Malden on October 9th, 1917 and lived there until moving to Stoneham just 4 years ago. She is a graduate of the Immaculate Conception Grammar School and Girls Catholic High School in Malden. She is a life-long parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church in Malden where she was a member of the 60 Club and involved in many activities over the years including the Mothers Club and Catholic Daughters. She was also an avid bridge player and an accomplished golfer. As a young adult Louise worked as a Bank Teller for Shawmut Bank. During the summer months, Louise and her family have spent many years at their summer residence on Great Neck in Ipswich. She was predeceased by her husband Martin W. O’Neil and is survived by her children, Elaine Gumpp and her husband Thomas of Hebron, NH; Stephen M. O’Neil and his wife Virginia of Malden and Elizabeth Ann O’Neil of Middletown, RI. She is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew, Molly, Martin and Michelle and her brother Nelson Belliveau of Hancock, ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden on Tuesday June 5th at 9 AM followed by interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday June 4th from 4-8 PM.
