Angela E. Penta-Large, 87, of Susan Avenue in Johnston, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at her home. She was the wife of the late Vincenzo Penta and Louis Large.
Born in Providence, she was one of seven children of Peter and Julia (Rufo) Martino. She had lived in Johnston for the past 20 years.
She is survived by a son, Domenic Penta of Saunderstown and two daughters, Judy B. Luca and Eileen F. Burchfield, both of North Providence, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a brother, Peter Martino of North Providence. She was predeceased by five siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 10 am in St. Anthony’s Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be private. Visitation respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
