Rita B. Mailhot, 87, of Manchester, died November 20, 2002, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, June 18, 1915, she was the daughter of John and Elodie (Adam) Bellemare. She lived most of her life in Manchester.
She worked for a time for Dunkin Donuts, Elm Street Diner, and retired from Velcro USA where she worked for several years.
She was married to Lorenzo J. Mailhot, who died in 1977. In addition a daughter, Doris Salas predeceased her in 1972.
Family members include 3 sons, Raymond J. Mailhot, Robert A. Mailhot, and Larry Mailhot, all of Manchester; 3 daughters, Irene Stiasny, Pauline Hudon, and Elaine Romano, all of Manchester; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Arthur Bellemare and William Bellemare, both of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday November 23, 2002 in St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
