Albertine Tellier, 97, of Rhodes Ave. North Smithfield, formerly of Waterview Apartments, Woonsocket, died Tuesday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Albert Tellier.
Born in North Grosvenordale, CT, she was a daughter of the late Hyacinthe and Roseanna (Lagace) Desjardins. She was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life.
Mrs. Tellier worked for Collamati Market, and later for Almacs Supermarket, for many years. She also worked for several area textile mills.
She was member of the Waterview Association, and the Ladies of St. Anne of St. Louis Parish.
She is survived by three daughters, Claudette Moore, of Cumberland, Madeleine Artabasy, of Winter Springs, FL., and Martha Patnode, of Orange, CA., and a sister, Florina Lagace, of North Smithfield. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Omer, Henri, Calixte, and Adolphe Desjardins, Emma St. Germain, and Lydia Wante.
Her funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Antoine Residence, Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield.
