Ethel G. Klein, 92, of Lowell Road, Hudson, NH died Tuesday November 19, 2002 at the Fairview Nursing Home, Hudson, following a brief illness. Mrs. Klein was born in Lynn, MA on March 15, 1910, a daughter of the late Frederick S. and Alice (Silke) Lynch. She was a resident of Hudson for the past two years, formerly living in Windham, NH for most of her life. Mrs. Klein was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, NH, Class of 1926 and received her teaching degree from the Perry Normal School, Plymouth, NH. Mrs. Klein was a member of the NEA (National Education Association) and had taught in the Derry, Windham, Londonderry, and Nashua schools. She retired from the Nashua School System in 1972. Mrs. Klein was an avid reader and enjoyed the Nesmith Library in Windham. She was predeceased by her husband Robert M. Klein formerly of Lawrence, MA in 1979.
She is survived by one daughter, Elinor A. (husband Mikael) Ciftan, Durham, NC, one son Robert F. (wife Yolande) Klein, Windham, three grandchildren, Suzanne Ciftan, Lynn, MA, Johanna Klein, Dana Klein, both of Windham.
Graveside services will be held Saturday November 23, 2002 at 10:00am at the Cemetery on the Plain, Windham. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry on Friday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM.
