WORCESTER____Jonas V. “John” Viktazentis, 73, of Worcester, died Saturday May 19 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.
He leaves a sister, Irene A. Juodaitis and her husband Frank of Holden; three nieces, Johanna, Vida and Diana, four grand nieces and one grand nephew. He was born in Vilkaviskas, Lithuania a son of Jonas and Teophile (Arminas) Viktazentis and later lived in Germany. He has lived in Worcester since 1950.
Mr. Viktazentis was a receiver for Prime Value Mart for 40 years and retired in 1987. He was educated in Germany.
He was a member of St. Casimir Church and the Lithuanian Charitable Society. He enjoyed stamp collecting and sports.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday May 23, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, with a Mass at 12:00 NOON in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
