Helen M. (Lacey) Theis - Of Wellesley, MA, May 19, 2007. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago where she raised 6 children, then moved to Colorado Springs in 1971. Pre-deceased by her loving husband of 45 years John M. Theis of Chicago and Colorado Springs, who died in 1984. Devoted mother of Robert J. Theis and his wife Maysoun of New York, N.Y., B. Lawrence Theis and his wife Bobbee Musgrave of Denver, CO, John T. Theis and his wife Mary Jane of Chicago, IL, Kathy Ann Taylor and her husband J. Robert of Wellesley, MA, Michael C. Theis and his wife Kelli of Denver, CO and Mary Ellen Bird and her husband Raymond of Sagle, Idaho. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., WELLESLEY, MA on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Wellesley, MA at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation Wednesday morning prior to the Mass 8:30-9:30 AM. Interment private. Donations may be made in Helen's memory to the Habitat for Humanity, 121 Habitat St., Americus, GA, 31709-3498.
