Virginia E. Tornari, a lifelong resident of Bridgewater died on Saturday at Oak Hill Nursing Home in Middleboro. She was 81.
Born in West Bridgewater she was a daughter of the late Sam & Frances (Guzzardi) Pistone.
She was a 1943 graduate of Bridgewater High School. She worked for 20 years at Fernandez Super Store in Bridgewater, retiring in 1991.
She was a member of the VFW Ladie’s Auxillary, & the Golden Agers. She was also a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater.
She was the Wife of the late Aldo Tornari; mother of Paul & Peter Tornari both of Bridgewater; sister of Rose Pagnotta of Swampscott, Henry Pistone of Bridgewater, & the late John Pistone.
Funeral from the Prophett Funeral Home on Wednesday at 8:00 AM. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater at 9:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater.
