LEICESTER: Bernard C. Jensen,76, of 178 Main St., Cherry Valley section
of Leicester, died May 2, in St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves a brother Leo Jensen of Vero Beach, Fl., and a nephew James Jensen
of Del.
Mr. Jensen was a ceramic fabricator at Norton Co. in Worcester for 39 years,
prior to his retirement. He was then employed by Lusignan Securities at
Union Station for 10 years.
He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, and was awarded the Bronze Star.
He was a member and past Grand Master of the Melha Temple Shriners in
Springfield, member of the Scottish Rite, AF & AM,Morning Star Lodge in
Worcester, and the Cherry Valley American Legion Post 443.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held Wednesday, May 23 @
11:30 a.m. in Mass. Veterans Cemetery, Bourne, Ma. There were no calling
hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cherry Valley
American Legion Post 443 Scholarship Fund, 167 Main St., Cherry Valley, Ma.
