AUBURN-Helen T. (Goblaskas) Pisinski, 86, formerly of 3 Westchester Drive, and New Port Richey, FL died Monday, November 18th in Hermitage Nursing Home, Worcester after a long illness. She leaves her husband of 65 years Alexander B. Pisinski, 3 sons; Thomas Pisinski of Northboro, Paul Pisinki of Boylston and Edward Pisinski of Southboro, 2 daughters; Janice Beauregard and Nancy Bouley both of Auburn, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. 2 brothers George and Charles Goblaskas and a sister Joanna “Jenny” Grudoff predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Charles F. and Joanna (Balser) Goblaskas and had moved to New Port Richey in 1984, returning to Auburn in 1996. Mrs. Pisinski was a graduate of Classical High School, Worcester. She had worked as a stock clerk for Gilman Brothers Wholesale Druggist in Worcester for 22 years, retiring in 1973. After her retirement she volunteered as a driver for the Meals on Wheels Program, delivering meals in Northboro for many years. Mrs. Pisinski was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Auburn, an active member of the Polaski Club in New Port Richey, and the Alter Society of St. Rose of Lima Church in Northboro. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and crafts and loved to travel.
The funeral will be Thursday, November 21st from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street, Auburn. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours are Wednesday, November 20th, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
