Bertha (Hembrough) Keenan, 95, A former longtime resident of Lawrence, and a recent resident of Rowley, MA, passed on Tuesday, May 15th, 2007 at the Seaview Retreat in Rowley.
She was born and educated in Lawrence and a 1929 graduate of Lawrence High School. She was an attendant of Grace Episcopal Church in Lawrence. She was a member of the Methuen Senior Citizen Center and according to her family she was an avid reader and she loved to knit, and that she adored and loved her family very much.
She is the loving wife of the late: Charles J. Keenan Sr. and leaves her four children: Claire McCarron of North Andover, Nancy Halloran of North Andover, MA. Charles J. Keenan Jr. and his wife Lucinda of Seabrook, NH, and Paul T. Keenan of Salisbury, MA. 11 Grand children and 15 Great grand children as well as several nieces and nephews.
