Beloved father of Heather Martin of Winthrop, Dorothy Barker and her husband Ron of Saugus, Joseph Andreotti and his wife Charlotte of Peabody and Richard Andreotti and his wife Mary of Revere. Cherished grandfather of Kimberly Martin of Newton, Shannon Martin of Methuen, David and Michael Barker both of Saugus, Danielle Parker of Methuen, Michele and Melisa Andreotti both of Peabody and Rachelle Andreotti of Revere. Great grandfather of Kelli Camuso, T.J., Allison and Madison Quinn and Michael Martin. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Saturday, May 19th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach Street, REVERE at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Born in East Boston, Joe, at 87 years of age passed away at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center on Mountain Avenue in Revere after a brief illness. His family moved to Chelsea when Joe was 5, an outstanding athlete during his years at Chelsea High School, he was a member of the famous Class of '39. A member of Teamsters Local #25, he was employed until he retired in 1981 from Spector Freight Systems in Needham. Joe was a proud member of the United States Navy serving during World War II.
