Charlotte A. ( Shea) Quinn, 90, formerly of Worcester died Sun., May 13, in St. Peter’s Hospice Center, Albany, NY.
Her husband of 42 years, Charles T. Quinn died in 1990. She leaves a daughter, Carol Ann and her husband David R. O’Toole, Sr. of Clifton Park, NY; three grandchildren, David R. O’Toole, Jr. of Arlington, VA, Moira J. O’Toole of Clifton Park, NY and Cara A. O’Toole of Centerville, GA; nephews Raymond V. Shea of Beverly Hills, CA and Richard D. Shea of Shrewsbury; grandnieces and grandnephews. A brother, Vincent R. Shea and a nephew Phillip E. Shea predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Daniel F. and Ellen A. (Gilgan) Shea and graduated from North High School and Becker College.
Charlotte worked over 40 years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a social worker and supervisor for Social Services Department. She was a former member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Assistive Living Center and at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.
The funeral will be held Fri. May 18, from Callahan and Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Fri. May 18 at the funeral home.
