SHREWSBURY- Stavie M. "Sta" (Zukowski) O'Marrah, 91, of 4 Doane Street, Worcester formerly of Shrewsbury died Thursday, November 14, in her daughter home after an illness.
Her husband, Herbert E. O'Marrah died in 1982. She leaves two daughters, Shirley M. Figurski and Barbara A. Foy both of Worecster; also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia A. Barry of Uxbridge, a brother, Alexander Zukowski of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Anna Russek of Shrewsbury and Lillian Kirby of Worcester and a granddaughter, Dawn Massicotte.
Mrs. O'Marrah was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Anthony and Alexandria (Kyres) Zukowski and had lived in Shrewsbury for many years before she moved to Worcester.
Mrs. O'Marrah had worked for 15 years as an assembler for Micro Network Inc in Worcester before she retired in 1983. She had previously worked for Telecron and Sprague Electric in Worcester for several years.
Mrs. O'Marrah was a meber of St. Anne's Church in Shrewsbury. She was a avid camper and was a member of the Pilgrim Campers Association. Mrs. O'Marrah had several hobbies including, ceramics.
Mrs. O'Marrah funeral will be held on Monday, November 18, 2002 from the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, (brittonfuneralhomes.com) 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury, with a funeral Mass at 10 A.M. in Saint Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Shrewsbury. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2002 from 4:30-6:30 P.M. in the funeral home.
