Jose L. Janeiro-66, of Hudson, MA, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Maria Fatima (Rego) Janeiro of Hudson.
Born in Saint Miguel, the Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Garcia) Janeiro.
He worked for many years as an assembler for the Hudson Lock Company. He was a member of St. Michaels Church and the Holy Ghost Society.
He is survived by his children; Carla J. Janeiro, Pedro M. Janeiro, Luis M. Janeiro and Jose C. Janeiro all of Hudson and Paulo J. Janeiro of Leominster; six Brothers; David Janeiro, Daniel Janeiro, Alvarino Janeiro and Vicente Janeiro all of Hudson, Henrique Janeiro and Afonso Janeiro both of Providence, RI. and one sister, Maria Rodrigues of Hudson. He is also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was brother to the late Evaristo Janeiro.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church, 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held Monday, May 7 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
