Obituary

Methuen, MA – Leo E. Lambert, 93, died Thursday May 3, 2007 at Caritas Holy Family Hospital.
Born in Lawrence September 1, 1913, Leo resided in this area for his entire life. He had been employed for 40 years with United Shoe Machinery of Beverly, Ma. as a Shoe Machinery Technician and Adhesive Sales Specialist before his retirement in 1978.

Leo had been an active communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Methuen; a member of the Holy Name since 1930, former parish council member, president of the CCD program for 6 years, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Third Order of Mary.

The widower of Theresa (Watkins) Lambert, survivors include sons Brother William Lambert, FMS of Lawrence, Eugene R. Lambert of Holden, MA, John F. Lambert of Clearwater, Florida, Dr. Daniel R. Lambert of Upton, MA, daughter Claire Lambert S.C.I.M. of Saco, Maine, and a brother Brother Chanel Lambert, F.M.S. of Lawrence, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mass in celebration of life will take place on Monday evening May 7, 2007 at 7:P.M. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish at St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen with private burial Tuesday morning in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover, MA.

Friends and relatives may call on Monday at St Theresa Church from 4-7 P.M.

Arrangements under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
