WORCESTER-Anne R. (McGrail) Eaton of Worcester passed away Thursday, May 3.
Her husband, William E. Eaton passed away in 1989. She leaves a daughter, Kathleen Esposito of Worcester; her son, Thomas and his wife Patricia "Patty" Eaton of Falmouth; two sisters, Mary Robinson of Westborough and Theresa “Terry” J. McGrail of Worcester; five grandchildren, Michael T., Matthew J. and Joseph M. Esposito of Worcester and Brian T and Kara A. Eaton of Falmouth; a son-in-law, Michael A. Esposito of Worcester, nieces and nephews. A son, William and a brother, Francis McGrail predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Francis S. and Annie (Carrigan) McGrail and lived here all her life. Anne worked in the Housekeeping Department at The College of Holy Cross for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church.
Anne's funeral will be Monday, May 7 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday, May 6 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Joan of Arc Food Pantry, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605.
