Worcester—Alice (Medzerian) Kassabian, 90, died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at the Rose Monahan Hospice. Her husband of 54 years, John Kassabian died in 1998. She leaves a son, John Kassabian of Acton; a daughter Ann M., wife of Edmond Danielson of Lexington; a brother George Medzerian of Allentown, PA; 1 niece and several nephews. She was born in Springfield, daughter of George and Anna (Nalbandian) Medzerian. She and her husband operated the Garden Outlet, a fruit and produce store, for more than 40 years. Alice was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, a self-taught expert in needlecraft and knitting, and also enjoyed cooking.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 2, at 11:00 a.m. in Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
