Obituary

Cecile R.(Mercier) Tremblay, 93, died April 26, 2007, at her home in Brigantine New Jersey.
She was born in Manchester, on December 12, 1913, and was the daughter of Edward and Henriette(Bernier) Mercier.
She was educated locally in St. Anthony School. Following graduation, she worked as a shoe worker in local mills. Later she and her husband moved to New Jersey and operated several luncheonettes in the Orange NJ area. They purchased the Sunnyside Motel in Orange NJ and operated it for several years until their retirement.
Family members include her son Maurice Tremblay, of Brigantine, NJ; a sister, Estelle Gay, of Penacook NH; 2 brothers, Ledger Mercier, of San Pedro, CA, Alfred Mercier, of Manchester NH; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry, F. Tremblay, who died, April 19, 1993.



A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday May 2, 2007 in St. Patrick’s Church, 138 Coolidge Ave., Manchester.

Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
