Obituary

BOSTON__ Cecilia M. (Witowski) Klucznik, 85, formerly of Worcester, died Saturday April 28, in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, West Campus. Her husband, Francis “Frank” Klucznik, died in 1988.

She leaves a son, Kenneth M. Klucznik and his wife Christine, a daughter, Elaine F. Klucznik, all of Worcester; a brother, Stanley Wyatowski of Dover, OH; two sisters, Genevieve Ryngiewicz of Hemet, CA, and Sophia LaForce of East Brookfield; two grandchildren, Kimberly Klucznik and Keith Klucznik and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Thaddeus Witowski and Raymond Witowski. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Adolf and Frances (Baldyga) Witowski and lived in Worcester for most of her life.

Mrs. Klucznik was a sales clerk many years for Ledermans Bakery and retired several years ago. She graduated from David Hale Fanning Girl’s Trade High School, Worcester. She was an avid reader and jigsaw puzzle maker. She was a former member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Worcester.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday May 2, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday May 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nursing Career Ladder at Hebrew Senior Life, 1200 Centre St, Boston, Ma, 02131.
