Ennis of Brockton April 28, 2007 Jean F. (Beede) Ennis, 69 years, beloved wife of John A. Ennis. Mother of Kathleen A. Cutter of Newton, Linda J. Blackmon of Medfield, Lt. Col. Robert M. Ennis USAF of Ft Walton Beach, FL and Mary E. Ennis of Brockton. Sister of John Beede of Shrewsbury and the late Harry Beede. Also survived by 6 Grandchildren.
Visiting Hours Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8pm in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton. Funeral Services are omitted and Cremation will follow.
Mrs. Ennis died unexpectedly in the Brockton Hospital on Saturday afternoon. She was the daughter of the late Verne and Dorothy (McGrath) Beede. She was born in Braintree and raised in Whitman, prior to moving to Brockton many years ago. Mrs. Ennis was a Registered Nurse, graduating from the New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. She had been employed at the Brockton VA Medical Center for 25 years and retired in 1996.
Jean enjoyed reading, dancing with her husband, and camping when her family was young. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother who will be greatly missed.
