Obituary

William A. Tannalfo age 72 of Salem, NH, passed away Tuesday at CMC, Manchester after a long battle with heart disease.

He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and was educated. He was a resident of Salem for the past 44 years, formerly of Lawrence.

Mr. Tannalfo was a retired Manager in Engineering Services for Analogic Corporation in Wakefield, MA. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran, serving during the Korean War in the 1st Marine Division. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus # 4442, Salem, NH & The Derry Salem Elks Lodge in Salem, NH. He was a life member of the VFW Post 8546, Salem, NH, and a Charter Member & Past President of the Salem Civic Organization. He enjoyed playing pool, painting, and mostly spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by father Joseph Tannalfo, his wife Barbara A. (Whitehead) Tannalfo, and a sister Mary Sheehy

He is survived by his beloved fiancé: Evelyn Bergeron of Salem, NH

His Mother: Rose (Augusta) Tannalfo of Dracut, MA

Nancy Tannalfo & her Husband Ron Stoner of Windham, NH
Susan & her Husband Daniel Murphy of Londonderry, NH

A Son: William J. Tannalfo of Londonderry, NH

6 Grandchildren: Jeff Murphy, Kyle DeStefano, Rachel Murphy, Erica Murphy, Joseph Tannalfo, & Corina Tannalfo

Several Nieces & Nephews

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 28 at 10 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.

Calling hours will be held Friday, April 27 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
