Barbara F. (Faherty) O’Sullivan of Hyde Park, died April 22, 2007 at the Milton Hospital. She was 99. She was the beloved wife of the late John U. O’Sullivan.
Mrs. O’Sullivan was born in Outerard, Ireland and was the daughter of the late John and Anne (Molloy) Faherty. A homemaker, Mrs. O’Sullivan was a longtime Hyde Park Resident.
She was the devoted mother of John U. O’Sullivan Jr. and his wife Patricia P. of Wellesley. Grandmother of John F. O’Sullivan of Wellesley and Kristen M. O’Sullivan and Cyril Nivelle of London, England. Great grandmother of Juliette and Amilie Nivelle of London, England. Sister of Martin Faherty of Falmouth and the late Nora F. Kennedy, John Faherty and Mary Carter.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Saturday at 8:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Pius X Church, Hyde Park, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 5-8 PM. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
