Mr. Victor J. Turcotte, age 81, died Tuesday morning, April 10 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Mary Anne M. (D'Auteuil) Turcotte who died on August 8, 2004.
Born in Lowell, May 6, 1925 he was a son of the late Antonio and Azilda (Cartier) Turcotte.
Mr. Turcotte resided in Lowell and was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church.
He had worked at J.P. Stevens in Dracut for many years until 1960 and had previously worked in maintenance at Ronnie's Steak House, of Dracut for many years.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Georgette and Richard Theriault, of Merrimack, NH; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sherri Turcotte, of Townsend; two grandchildren, Lisa Gendron of Merrimack, NH and Christina Turcotte of Townsend; one great grandchild, Tyler Gendron of Merrimack, NH; also several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Cecile Letourneau, Alphonse Turcotte, Rene Turcotte, Yvonne Lebel, Alice Turcotte, and Irene Piche.
Visitation will take place at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St.,Lowell, on FRIDAY from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon, with prayer service to take place at noon at the funeral home. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
